Continuous improvement in supply chain performance requires the development of a reliable and structured performance evaluation system. This study employs the Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM) model to assess and improve the supply chain performance of Tehran Wagon Manufacturing Company. Based on a comprehensive literature review and expert input, ten key performance criteria were identified, including supplier quality management, systemic integration, customer and market focus, stakeholder communication, management commitment, quality information systems, leadership, process management, quality strategies, and human resource development.
Sub-criteria were defined for each main criterion, and their weights were determined using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Performance was then measured using the Zero-Level and Target-Level method, resulting in an overall performance score of 48%. Regression and dynamic analyses revealed both direct and indirect relationships among the criteria, emphasizing the presence of synergistic effects—where improvements in one area positively influence others. The SCQM model proves to be an effective tool for structured supply chain performance optimization. Future research is recommended to enhance the model through advanced analytical methods and cross-industry comparisons.
